After the Going to the Sun Road, it's hard to find a more spectacular drive in Glacier National Park. Unless the tourist crowds have spoiled your park experience. In that case, we recommend the Many Glacier Road on the east side of the park.
Take the Going to the Sun Road to St. Mary and turn left toward Babb. At Babb, you'll enter the mountains again, this time on the quieter Many Glacier Road. The end result is a wonderland of lakes, glaciers and mountain peaks.
