1 Tirana - Burrel - Kukës

From Kukes, you travel west to Shkoder. While driving to this lovely town, there is a possibility to take a short break at the Buna River-Velipoja Protected Landscape. Through the windows of your vehicle, you will admire unique geological forms and dense flora that is home to numerous animal species. When you reach the nature reserve, you have only a few kilometres left to reach the town centre.

3 Shkoder - Durres

The road signs will indicate that you are at a distance of 107 km from your next stopover, Durres. Head south passing such villages as Barbullush or Mamurras.

From Lushnje, head south to reach Vlore. After approximately 66 km, you reach your next stopover. 5 Vlora - Saranda

Vlore has a very long history. This interesting coastal resort was first established by the Greeks, but now the city is visited by sunbathers from all over Europe. While in the town, it is worth visiting such places as Kanine Castle or Marmiroi Church. You can also hop in your car to drive to the Karaburun Peninsula, where the Ionian Sea meets the Adriatic Sea. From Vlore, drive south along SH8 road to reach Sarande.
