Volkswagen has announced the prices for the Grand California: The upgraded motorhome based on the new VW Crafter can now be ordered at prices from 54,990 euros in the shorter, six-meter-long variant 600 with front-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive 4Motion is available from 59,310 euros and the only offered with driven front wheels, a good 80 centimeters longer Grand 680 costs at least 57,100 euros. The first copies will be delivered in the second quarter.
The pricing of the developed van can be classified as a challenge to the competition, the base prices are still 5,000 to 10,000 euros below the entry tariffs of the external caravan manufacturers such as Knaus, Westfalia and Co.
